Jack Gallagher is one of eight competitors who have been confirmed for WWE’s United Kingdom tournament in June.
Gallagher, a regular on 205 Live and one-time Royal Rumble entrant, will be among the men bidding to win the tournament, the early rounds of which takes place at the Download festival on June 8-10.
The second stage will be at the Royal Albert Hall show on June 18 with the winner getting a shot at Pete Dunne’s United Kingdom title the following night.
Liverpool technician Zack Gibson, the hard-hitting Glaswegian Joe Coffey and David Mastiff, who weighs in at more than 300lbs, have also been added to the list of competitors.
Joining them will be Kenny Williams, who appeared on this week’s episode of 205 Live in London, Leeds luchador El Ligero, 2017 quarter-finalist Joseph Conners and Amir Jordan, who was trained by Lance Storm, complete the line-up.
The second half of the bracket is due to be confirmed on Friday.
