Olivier Giroud ran over to the Arsenal fans and was applauding them after their 3-1 defeat to Swansea but was he waving goodbye for good?
Was Olivier Giroud waving goodbye to the Arsenal fans following the defeat to Swansea on Tuesday?
The Frenchman has been strongly linked with a Deadline Day move to Chelsea and Arsene Wenger has confirmed there is a possibility he will leave the club on Wednesday.
Giroud came on as a second-half substitute in the 3-1 defeat at the Liberty Stadium, a match which could prove to be his last for Arsenal after more than 250 appearances for the club.
Wenger paid tribute to the striker for playing against Swansea, but understands his desire to play more football ahead of next summer’s World Cup.
