Seth Rollins delivered one of the most memorable performances in modern-day wrestling with his sweat-soaked 65-minute masterclass on this week’s Raw.

The Kingslayer lasted more than an hour of an epic seven-man gauntlet man which clocked in at twice that to set the record for the longest ever televised WWE match.

It was truly a performance of the ages and was made even more impressive by the fact it included victories over two men who are arguably the biggest stars on Raw – Roman Reigns and John Cena.

Rollins received a standing ovation from the crowd in Phoenix, Arizona after he was eliminated from the gauntlet match by Elias, and issued a public thank you on Twitter later that evening.

“It’s nights like these when I remember why I fell in love with professional wrestling,” he wrote. “Thank you to the men I shared the ring with this evening. It was truly special. I’ve drawn a line in the sand…”
