Tottenham clinically hit four past Huddersfield on Saturday to move up to third in the Premier League – but did Dele Alli dive?
Spurs were in insatiable form at the John Smith’s Stadium as they claimed a sixth-consecutive away win in the top flight for the very first time.
The visitors put the game beyond the Terriers in a blistering opening 23-minute spell as a Harry Kane’s double, either side of Ben Davies’ second, put them three ahead.
Huddersfield settled as Spurs took their foot off the gas in the second half, and frustration began to set in for Spurs, namely Alli, who struggled to get into the game.
With 58 minutes on the clock, the England international was released behind the Huddersfield defence, but goalkeeper Jonas Lossl raced off his line to meet him.
Lossl then withdrew from the challenge but Alli appeared to throw himself to ground in search of a penalty. Referee Neil Swarbrick was having none of it and booked Alli for simulation, but what do you think?
