VOTE: French Open women’s winner? Simona Halep, Jelena Ostapenko, Maria Sharapova and Serena Williams in contention

Will Jelena Ostapenko defend her French Open crown? Vote here for who you think will come out victorious at Roland Garros.

Ostapenko stunned the world of tennis last year when she became the first unseeded player to win the French Open since 1933, with victory over Simona Halep coming on the Latvian’s 20th birthday.

Now seeded fifth for this year’s tournament, Ostapenko’s cards are marked as she seeks to lift the Suzanne Lenglen trophy once more, while world No 1 Halep will be out for revenge in search of her first Grand Slam title.

The returning Serena Williams is targeting a fourth French Open, and will be unseeded for what is her first Grand Slam since last year’s Australian Open, while two-time champion Maria Sharapova will look to end her four-year wait for major glory.

Meanwhile, fourth seed Elina Svitlolina heads to France on the back of winning the Italian Open, while Petra Kvitova has proved she will be in the mix after victories in Madrid and Prague.

But who will come out victorious? Have your say in the vote below, swiping right if you think they can go all the way, and left if you cannot see them challenging…
