Relive the best moves from last week's SmackDown
John Cena takes his quest to secure a WrestleMania match to SmackDown tonight, live on Sky Sports Arena at 1am.
The 16-time world heavyweight champion has been in reflective mood since losing at both Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber, his two opportunities to secure a title match which could – should he win – take him past Ric Flair’s record.
On Raw this week he even went as far as to challenge The Undertaker – who has not competed since last year’s WrestleMania – to a match between two icons of the modern era.
As a free agent, Cena is clear to compete on either Raw or SmackDown and therefore can appear at Los Angeles without any recourse.
The same status, it should perhaps be noted, is also afforded to The Undertaker.
New Day and Usos renew rivalry
With Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin seemingly bumped out of the SmackDown title picture, the way has been cleared for The Usos and The New Day to reignite a rivalry which lit up 2017.
The Usos’ program with New Day helped secure their place as the best tag team in WWE and the two pairs go face to face tonight as part of the blue brand’s Road to WrestleMania plans.
Zayn, Corbin bid for Fastlane momentum
Two of the five competitors in the Fastlane title match look to build some momentum for the March 11 event as they square off at SmackDown tonight.
Last week’s episode ended with Corbin having hit an End of Days on both Zayn and Kevin Owens after they tried to attack him following his loss to WWE champion AJ Styles.
Corbin gets another chance to put one over Zayn tonight as he attempts to get back on a championship trail which was derailed when he squandered his Money In The Bank briefcase chance last year.
