Scott Quinnell was all praise for the game of netball after paying a visit to Bath in the Fan Van.

The former Welsh rugby international spoke to host Di Dougherty after Team Bath’s 51-35 victory against Severn Stars on Bank Holiday Monday.

The School of Hard Knocks presenter thought the match was “superb” and was amazed by the size of the court and how tough the players were.

Quinnell said: “You ladies are hard as nails” and added he could see “the glint in their eye” in front of the giggling Tamsin Greenway and Pamela Cookey.

Quinnell promised he would return to front the netball coverage in three weeks’ time – so in time for Surrey Storm’s home game against Severn Stars – live on Sky Sports on Monday, May 28. Will he live up to his promise?
