West Ham defender Reece Oxford will meet manager David Moyes on Wednesday to discuss his future at the London Stadium.
The 19-year old was due to return on loan to Borussia Monchengladbach after Tuesday night’s match against Crystal Palace.
However, Sky Sports News understands Moyes is now considering blocking the loan and keeping the youngster in his squad.
The teenager made four appearances while on loan with Gladbach this season but returned to the London Stadium after being recalled over the festive season.
Gladbach made a bid in the region of £10m for Oxford on January 2 and the club’s sports director later reiterated their desire to tie Oxford to a permanent deal.

Time is against them as all the paperwork for any potential loan will have to be completed before Germany’s transfer window closes at 5pm UK time.
Oxford came on as an 86th-minute substitute for Cheikhou Kouyate during the 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace.
