Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos’ one-match ban overturned

Rangers have successfully appealed the yellow card picked up by Alfredo
Morelos against Dundee, meaning the striker will no longer need to serve a one-match ban.

Morelos was cautioned for simulation by referee Greg Aitken in the second half of Rangers’ 4-0 over Dundee on Saturday, taking his tally of cautions to six yellow cards – ruling him out of the first game after the league split.

However, Gers boss Graeme Murty will be able to draw on the services of the Colombian against Hearts on April 22 after the Scottish Football Association elected to rescind the yellow card.
