Nico Rosberg back on Sky Sports F1 for the Monaco GP

Nico Rosberg rejoins the Sky Sports F1 team for the Monaco GP. Watch from Thursday at 9.45am on Sky Sports F1.

2016 world champion Nico Rosberg will be back on Sky Sports F1 at this weekend’s Monaco GP, providing expert analysis on a race he has won three times.

Rosberg will bring unparalleled insight as he rejoins the team for a crucial sixth race of the 2018 season, with every session from the jewel in Formula 1’s crown live on Sky Sports F1 from Thursday May 24.

And, as a triple-winner of the iconic event and master of the Monte Carlo streets, the German is sure to offer Sky Sports viewers a unique perspective in Monaco.

Rosberg, who retired as world champion just 18 months ago at the age of 31, became the first man in the 21st century to win the race three times in a row when taking victory in 2013, 2014 and 2015.

His three wins is also a tally no current driver on the grid has matched.

Rosberg will join a Sky F1 team featuring Martin Brundle, Johnny Herbert and Anthony Davidson this weekend, with the track action starting on Thursday.

He will also be joining his father, Keke, on track as both former world champions drive their title-winning cars around the street circuit: Nico in his 2016 Mercedes, Keke in his 1982 Williams.

And on top of Sky Sports F1’s coverage of every session from the Principality, Saturday’s Practice Three, Qualifying and F1 Show, along with Sunday’s race, build-up and reaction will also be shown live on Sky One, channel 106.

That means you don’t need to be a Sky Sports subscriber in order to watch the action.

Saturday’s qualifying begins at 2pm UK time, with build-up underway from 1pm, while lights out for Sunday’s race is at 2.10pm, with build-up from 12.30pm.
