New Zealand and Australia served up a run-fest at Eden Park on Friday, with 488 runs scored in 38.5 overs in their T20 Tri-Series game.
The Antipodean rivals will meet again at the same venue on Wednesday in the tournament final – live on Sky Sports Cricket from 5.30am – with New Zealand qualifying for the match after pipping England on net run rate.
So how does Black Caps seamer Trent Boult plan to stem the run flow in Auckland this time around?

“You’re pretty stupid if you say you’re not going to go for a few boundaries here,” Boult told Sky Sports’ Ian Ward, with Friday’s match seeing Australia chase down New Zealand’s 243-6 with seven balls to spare and 32 sixes smashed across the two innings.
“It’s probably about hanging in there for your 24 balls and trying to limit the amount you go for.
“In terms of the magic recipe, I don’t have it, to be honest. I have tasted a little bit of success here at times – it’s been as simple as hitting the deck and trying to swing the ball a little bit.
“If it’s swinging you’ve got to try and use it, early wickets is what sets up your side. That’s my role in the team, I look to get the side off to a good start and their best batters back in the hut.
“If you try and hit your yorkers and they get down and lap you, you’ve still got to back that it was the right call in the first place and almost ask them to do it again.”
