We round up the latest Liverpool transfer rumours on Saturday, June 30.
Simon Mignolet has admitted he will consider his future at Liverpool after the conclusion of this summer’s World Cup.
The 30-year-old Belgium goalkeeper lost his place in the Liverpool starting line-up to Loris Karius last season and has revealed he is concerned by the lack of game time both at Anfield and at international level.
Mignolet is understood to want talks with Reds boss Jurgen Klopp before deciding whether to leave Liverpool this summer.
Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has cooled speculation linking him with a move for Liverpool striker Danny Ings.
Rodgers brought Ings to Anfield in 2015 but the Hoops boss has played down signing him again, insisting he is happy with his striking options at Parkhead.
“Danny is a fantastic player and has been really, really unfortunate for a few years with injury but I have got the three strikers at the moment and we don’t need any more,” he said.
Liverpool have received a boost in the race to sign Sporting Lisbon winger Gelson Martins.
The 23-year-old’s agent has told Tuttomercato that there is no deal in place to take his client to Lisbon rivals Benfica, opening up the possibility of a move to Anfield.
Arsenal are also thought to hold an interest in Martins.
