All the latest Liverpool transfer news and rumours from across the British and European press on Tuesday, January 30.
Liverpool have been told by Monaco that Thomas Lemar is not for sale this month.
The Liverpool Echo say Lemar remains a target for Jurgen Klopp, but not until the summer.
“He will stay at Monaco until the end of the season 100%,” Monaco vice president Vadim Vasilyev told French radio station RMC.
“If Liverpool or Arsenal come with a big offer before the end of the market? This is not relevant. We will say no because the objectives are clear. Without important players like Lemar, we will not succeed.”
The Echo say the Lemar news “furthers the likelihood of no new incomings at Anfield in the next 48 hours”.
Juventus are apparently confident that they will be able to sign Liverpool midfielder Emre Can.
Juve chief executive Giuseppe Marotta told RMC Sport: “We are in optimum position to achieve all the objectives we have set out. Talks are well underway with Emre Can, but the negotiations are not at all concluded.”
Lazar Markovic is wanted by both Swansea and Wolfsburg.
