Simon Jordan and Danny Mills joined Jeff Stelling on The Debate on Friday and you can listen back to the show.
The panelists started by discussing Sergio Aguero’s injury and whether any blame should be attached to the Manchester City striker after he was involved in a car accident in Amsterdam on Thursday.
“The easiest thing to avoid it would have been not to be there in the first place,” said Jordan. “You have a big week and a big game on Saturday, so why would that be the week that you get on a jet and go somewhere else?”
Jordan and Mills also reflected on Everton’s slow start to the season and comments by Ronald Koeman that his side look “scared”.
Could Bayern Munich make a move for Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp after sacking Carlo Ancelotti? That was also debated along with Crystal Palace’s poor form and the loss of Christian Benteke to injury.
