Leigh Halfpenny will miss the Scarlets’ PRO14 semi-final clash against Glasgow on Friday due to a torn hamstring.
The Wales and British and Irish Lions full-back will be absent when the Scarlets bid to reach a second successive league final.
Halfpenny limped off after 34 minutes of Scarlets’ comfortable 43-8 win over the Cheetahs on May 5, which booked their place in the semi-finals.
Scarlets head coach Wayne Pivac says that Halfpenny could be available for the final in 11 days’ time against either Munster or Leinster if Scarlets progress.
While Halfpenny is out, full-back and wing option Johnny McNicholl is available for selection after overcoming a shoulder injury.
