Huddersfield are interested in signing AC Milan forward Andre Silva, according to Sky in Italy.
Terriers boss David Wagner is aiming to strengthen his squad ahead of next season and has already completed the signing of goalkeeper Ben Hamer on a free transfer from Leicester.
Silva joined Milan from Porto for £33m only last summer, but struggled to find his best form during his debut season at the San Siro.
The 22-year-old netted 10 goals in 40 appearances for Milan, with only two of those strikes coming in Serie A.
Prior to joining Milan, Silva enjoyed his best campaign to date, netting 21 goals in 44 matches for Porto.
Silva, who is currently away with Portugal preparing for the World Cup, has four years remaining on his current deal with AC Milan.
Meanwhile, Huddersfield are closing in on the signing of Stoke midfielder Ramadan Sobhi.
The 21-year-old was released by the Egypt FA on Saturday to hold talks and have a medical ahead of a move to the John Smith’s Stadium.
Sobhi scored twice and added one assist in 24 Premier League appearances for Stoke last season.
