The 20-year-old completed a medical on Monday, finalising the move away from the Valley in the late in the afternoon.

Brentford secured Konsa’s signature for an undisclosed fee and have the option to extend his deal by a further year.

Konsa, a member of England’s U20 World Cup-winning squad, came through the youth ranks at Charlton and has been around the first team squad at the South London side since he was 18.
