Dele Alli trains as England prepare to face Belgium in World Cup

Dele Alli took part in England’s training session on Monday morning as he continues his recovery from a minor thigh injury suffered in the opening World Cup win over Tunisia.

The Spurs midfielder missed Sunday’s 6-1 win over Panama that secured England’s place in the last 16 with a game to spare.

None of the players who started against Panama in Nizhny Novgorod were part of the light session back at Zelenogorsk but those who came off the bench – Jamie Vardy, Fabian Delph and Danny Rose – were involved.

Manager Gareth Southgate led the session as England began their preparations for Thursday’s clash with Belgium, the game which will decide top spot in Group G.
