Danny Graham signs new one-year deal with Blackburn Rovers

Danny Graham has signed a new one-year contract at Blackburn, which could be extended by another 12 months.

The 32-year-old striker would have been out of contact at the end of June, but the new deal could now keep him at Ewood Park until the end of the 2019-2020 season.

Graham originally joined Blackburn on loan from Sunderland in January 2016 and scored seven times in 18 games, prompting the club to make his stay permanent in June of that year.

He finished the 2016-2017 season as Blackburn’s top scorer with 13 goals.

Last season Graham managed 17 goals in all competitions, including the 150th of his career, as Blackburn earned automatic promotion to the Championship.

Only Bradley Dack with 18 goals managed more for Blackburn last season, and Graham’s 37 goals in 106 games so far have established him as a fan favourite.
