Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge is set to join West Brom on loan for the rest of the season, according to Sky sources.
Sturridge has been linked with a move to Inter Milan and Newcastle in recent weeks but a source has told Sky Sports News he has chosen West Brom for family reasons.
Sky understands the deal could be concluded before Tuesday today for the England striker.
West Brom look to have beaten Newcastle who made an enquiry for the player on loan, according to Sky sources.
Sturridge has scored 48 goals in 98 Premier League games for Liverpool but has suffered from a variety of injuries during his time on Merseyside and restricted him to just 55 league matches over the past four seasons.

Sturridge has endured a frustrating season so far, playing 15 times, and, having picked up a thigh injury, he has not been in action since coming off the bench during the Champions League tie against Spartak Moscow in early December.
Liverpool were happy to keep Sturridge at Anfield, given they are still involved in the Champions League and FA Cup and are trying to secure a top-four spot in the Premier League.
However, with the World Cup in Russia later this year, Sturridge would have been keen to have more time on the pitch before Gareth Southgate names his squad.
