Sunderland boss Chris Coleman is eagerly anticipating his side’s relegation clash with Birmingham in the Sky Bet Championship on Tuesday night.
Both sides head into the game at St Andrew’s in the relegation zone, with Sunderland a point and a place above the Blues in 22nd.
“Every game is a must win, even more so [on Tuesday],” said Coleman. “We had a look at them on Saturday, it is a big, big game but it is exciting. We want to be involved in big games.
“We are where we are and it is a chance for us to push us one step closer to where we need to be.”
Burton, who are bottom of the league, host struggling Reading on Tuesday night in the hopes of dragging Jaap Stam’s side back into the relegation battle. The Royals are without a league win since beating Sunderland on December 2.
Hull are only above Sunderland on goal difference and will be hoping to climb away from the relegation zone as they host Leeds, who have slipped away from the play-off places after a poor run of one point from their last four games.
Elsewhere, Middlesbrough host Sheffield Wednesday, Derby travel to Millwall and Nottingham Forest face Preston.
Sheffield United and Aston Villa meet at Bramall Lane, live on Sky Sports Football and Main Event from 7.30pm.
