Worcestershire completed the highest successful run-chase in English one-day cricket thanks to debutant Callum Ferguson’s incredible 192 from 143 balls against Leicestershire in the Royal London One-Day Cup.
Set 377 to win, the Rapids lost Moeen Ali for a duck but with Ferguson, an overseas replacement for Travis Head, assisted by half-centuries from Joe Clarke (62), Daryl Mitchell (50) and Brett D’Oliveira (54no), they won the game with 16 balls to spare.

Ben Raine had top-scored with 83 and he was one of four Leicestershire batsmen to pass fifty, Paul Horton (79), Matt Cosgrove (70) and Colin Ackermann (71no) the others as they posted 376-4.
However, Ferguson’s career-best List A score helped Worcestershire to their highest one-day total and a six-wicket win, their fourth victory in five matches, to keep them top of the North Group. SCORECARD
In the South Group, Surrey and Sussex took a share of the points after their game at The Oval was abandoned without a ball being bowled due to rain.
