Brighton look to set to sign full-back Martin Montoya on loan from Valencia, Sky sources understand.
The Seagulls are understood to have agreed a deal with Valencia in the final hours of the transfer window and the right-back is close to completing a move.
Fulham were also interested in the 27-year-old but have since turned their attention to Manchester United’s Timothy Fosu-Mensah.

Montoya, 27, signed for Valencia in 2016 and has made 52 appearances for the club, scoring twice.
He has represented Spain at youth levels, from U17 through to U23, but has not made a senior appearance.
If Montoya agrees to join Brighton he will become their third Deadline Day signing after midfielder Peter Gwargis joined from Swedish side Jonkopings Sodra IF and Dan Burn moved from Wigan.
