Brighton and Hibernian hold talks over John McGinn

Brighton and Hibernian have held talks regarding midfielder John McGinn, Sky Sports News understands.

Celtic have already had two bids rejected for the 23-year-old, who is out of contract next summer.

The Glasgow side reportedly made a £2m bid but Hibs value the player at £4m.

Manager Neil Lennon has previously stated that he will continue to play McGinn until a deal is reached and is not currently seeking a replacement.

The Scotland international scored for Hibs in the Europa League qualifier against Asteras Tripoli in Greece on Thursday night.

McGinn joined Hibs from St Mirren in 2015 and has scored 12 goals in 100 league games for the club.
