You would think that winning the Europa League represents Arsenal’s best chance at qualifying for the Champions League – that have a big gap to bridge to Chelsea and Tottenham. They’ve done the first part of the job winning at Ostersunds, and they’ve just got to keep winning and getting through. They should keep chipping away in the league, though, as it’s not time at the moment to prioritise the Europa League. Chelsea have got to play both Manchester clubs and while it may be difficult, I would continue with both competitions. Arsenal are a team that can reel off six wins on the spin like that, that being said they can still lose to the so-called lesser sides. But they need to keep plugging away and stay in the cup for a later date when they might need it.
