The launch of the US Atlas V carrier rocket has again been delayed.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The United Launch Alliance (ULA) company on Saturday canceled the launch of the Atlas V carrier rocket with a military satellite on board for the third time over technical problems.

The launch was scheduled to take place at 07:59 GMT on October 7 at the Cape Canaveral launch site after two previous launches were canceled due to weather conditions.

”The team will replace and retest the hardware in the Vertical Integration Facility prior to another launch attempt,” the ULA wrote on Twitter.

A new launch attempt date has not been announced yet.

The launch was expected to deliver a new spy satellite for the US National Reconnaissance Office.
