94-year-old grandma returns favor to police who delivered hurricane supplies

A 94-year-old grandma who gained internet fame for reacting to a police visit before Hurricane Irma has returned the favor to the officers who helped her.

Betty Helmuth of Clearwater, Florida, stopped by the Clearwater Police Department Sept. 27 to thank Officer James Frederick and his colleagues for greeting her with supplies 20 days earlier.

“It was kind of unique that we took her supplies and now she’s turned around to bring our officers supplies,” Clearwater police spokesman Rob Shaw told ABC News today.
